The Calgary Flames are coming off a big win on Saturday night, shutting out the defending Stanley Cup champions, Florida Panthers, 3-0.
The win improved netminder Dustin Wolf's home record to 8-1-0 and was his second career shutout, both coming this season at the Saddledome.
Nazem Kadri is on fire right now and will look to extend his season-high four-game point streak to five with his old nemesis, the Boston Bruins, in town on Tuesday night.
The Bruins (35 points) come into the night sitting in third place in the Atlantic Division, while the Flames (35 points) remain in fifth place in the Pacific Division.
Wolf will start his second consecutive game and is still searching for his first career victory against the Bruins. He was between the pipes in a Boston 4-3 overtime victory on Nov. 7.
Wolf's overall statistics include a 9-5-1 record with a 2.65 GAA, .915 SV%, and two shutouts.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Swayman is slated to start for the Bruins. Since signing a massive contract in the preseason, the 26-year-old has had a rocky campaign, with a 10-10-2 record, a 3.16 GAA, and a .888 SV%.
Jonathan Huberdeau continues to lead the Flames in scoring with 21 points in 31 games. He's tied with Kadri with 11 goals, the only two Calgary players to reach double digits.
David Pastrnak leads the Bruins in scoring with 32 points in 32 games, but Brad Marchand is Boston's top goal scorer with 13.
Tonight will mark the first time former Flames players Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov will return to the Saddledome since signing on the East Coast in the summer.
