Sebastian Aho Named 2024 All-Star

What - Game 46 (25-15-5)
When - 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 24
Where - PNC Arena; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - TNT, MAX

The Carolina Hurricanes will face the Boston Bruins (29-8-9) tonight on the front end of a back-to-back.

Carolina is coming off a disappointing 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild, a game in which they outshot the Wild 42-19, and will hope to get some better results.

It will be a tall task for them though as Boston remains one of the NHL's top teams.

The Bruins do everything well and have both a top-5 power play and penalty kill, but what really separates them from the rest of the pack is their goaltending.

Both Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman are top-tier goalies and have backstopped Boston this season.

The Hurricanes will need a bit extra juice if they want to get the best of them, but luckily enough, perhaps they have that on hand with their moms in town.

The Canes embarked on their Moms' Trip so most of the guys will have their moms at TD Gardens to watch them play.

Even Spencer Martin who was just claimed off waivers less than a week ago will have his mom in attendance.

And luckily for her, he's an option to start tonight as well according to Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour.

Andrei Svechnikov did not make the trip and will miss tonight's game.
