    Per Carolina Hurricanes team reporter Walt Ruff, the Canes have handed out another professional tryout (PTO), this time to 30-year-old forward Nick Shore.

    Shore, who was drafted in 2011, has appeared in 299 games registering 18 goals and 59 points in that span.

    Shore last played for the Winnipeg Jets in the 2019-20 season, but has also played for the LA Kings, Calgary Flames, Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs.

    The 6-foot-1 forward has also played in the KHL, Swiss National League and most recently the SHL.

    Shore joins Brendan Perlini, Cory Conacher and Nathan Beaulieu as the other PTOs handed out by the Hurricanes this offseason.

    Shore is also a 2014-15 Calder Cup Champion which he won with the Manchester Monarchs and a 2020-21 NL Champion with EV Zug.
