Conacher, 33, is a veteran of 13 professional seasons having played in the NHL, AHL and Swiss National League over that span.

The 5-foot-9 forward first made his NHL debut in the 2012-13 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning and has also played for the Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres and New York Islanders.

Conacher has appeared in 193 NHL games and has 28 goals and 75 points across those games.

In the AHL, Conacher is a Calder Cup Champion, MVP and scoring leader (2011-2012) and over his 10-year career has scored 131 goals and registered 340 points in 371 regular season games and 22 goals and 58 points in 81 playoff games.

Conacher also won the NL Championship with HC Bern in the Swiss League in 2016.

Perlini, 27, was the 12th overall pick in the 2014 draft and has played in 262 games at the NHL level. In that span, the forward has 50 goals and 81 points.

The 6-foot-4 winger has played on four NHL teams - Arizona Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and Edmonton Oilers - and three AHL teams.

In the AHL, Perlini has 35 goals and 52 points in 61 games.

Both forwards are also apparently under AHL contract with the Chicago Wolves for the 2023-24 season.

The Hurricanes kick off the preseason on September 26 and so training camp will probably start two weeks prior where both players can fight for a spot with Carolina.
