Finland and Canada face off to determine if one of them can advance to the gold medal match.

The 4 Nations Face-Off enters its final day of round robin play as Finland, Canada and Sweden all hope to qualify for the championship game against Team USA.

The Americans were the first team to secure a berth, being the only team to win each of its first two games, and now there's just one spot left.

Each team still has a path to the championship, but Team Finland and Team Canada each control their destinies while Team Sweden will need some help.

The Finns and Canadians play today at 1 p.m. and if either team wins in regulation, they will advance. If the game goes to overtime, Team Sweden can advance with a regulation win over Team USA.

Potentially three Carolina Hurricanes will square off this afternoon as Sebastian Aho and Mikko Rantanen hope to lead Finland to another victory while Seth Jarvis hopes to help Canada set up a rematch with the USA.

Rantanen and Aho each had their best games of the tournament on Saturday against Sweden and they'll hope to carry that momentum into this afternoon's game.

Unfortunately, it seems that former Hurricane Teuvo Teravainen won't play as he'll be a healthy scratch after having very limited playing time in the first two games of the tournament.

Teravainen, who's an incredible play maker and special teams specialist, wasn't put in a position to succeed at all, in my opinion, and now will have to sit and watch to see if his country can advance.

And after a strong showing against Sweden, Jarvis didn't see the ice too much against the USA and now could potentially see himself a healthy scratch today too according to Team Canada coach Jon Cooper.

It's a bit strange to see Jarvis scratched as there have been a few players for Canada that have not really contributed much at all, but perhaps that's just his fate being the youngest player on the team.

Or perhaps Team Canada is hoping to avoid more fighting.
