What - Game 55 (32-17-5)
When - 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 19
Where - PNC Arena; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - Bally Sports South, NBC Sports Chicago
The Carolina Hurricanes will face Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks (15-37-3) tonight at PNC Arena.
The Canes are coming off back-to-back road wins against the Arizona Coyotes and Vegas Golden Knights backstopped by some solid goaltending.
Carolina's special teams has also been clicking, with each ranked third overall in the entire league.
The Blackhawks on the other hand are by far one of the worst teams in the NHL, however they did just recently snap an eight-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators.
Outside of Bedard though, the Hawks have virtually no offensive firepower and their defense is porous at best.
However, it's always key to remember that hockey is a weird sport and strange things do happen, so the Hurricanes have to make sure they stay locked in.
Streaks
- Seth Jarvis (2g, 2a) and Jordan Staal (1g, 3a) have points in three straight games.
- Martin Necas (3a), Stefan Noesen (1g, 1a) and Brady Skjei (2a) have points in back-to-back games.
Milestone Watch
- Jaccob Slavin (257) is one point shy of tying Justin Faulk (258) for the most points by a defenseman in franchise history.
