The Carolina Hurricanes will look to keep the good times going as they host the Tampa Bay Lightning (9-6-5) on Black Friday.

The Canes are winners of two in a row and most recently defeated the Edmonton Oilers 6-3 on Wednesday.

Antti Raanta is expected to start for Carolina despite leaving early after just one period against Edmonton.

The Lightning lost their last outing 3-2 to the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday but had previously won three straight before that.

Tampa goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy is also expected to make his season debut tonight. He missed the first month and a half of the season after undergoing back surgery late in the offseason.
