The NHL held its player draft for the 2024 All-Star Game and Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho was selected to join Team MacKinnon.

Canadian popstar Tate McRae, who was one of the celebrity captains, selected Aho in the fourth round of the draft.

Aho joins Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, Sidney Crosby, Alexander Georgiev, Kirill Kaprizov, Tom Wilson, Jeremy Swayman, Travis Konecny, Elias Lindholm and Oliver Bjorkstrand.

Team MacKinnon has six Stanley Cups amongst them and it feels like a reunion of a lot of current and former Metropolitan players.

The 2024 All-Star Game will take place Saturday Jan. 3 starting at 3 p.m.
