Two Canes Prospects Selected To Team Sweden's World Junior Championship Roster

Felix Unger Sorum and Oskar Vuollet were two of 21 skaters chosen to represent Sweden.

The Carolina Hurricanes will have two more representatives at the World Junior Championships this year as Team Sweden announced that both Felix Unger Sorum and Oskar Vuollet have been selected.

The 19-year-old forwards will look to be big parts of a team that took home silver last year.

Unger Sorum, a 2023 second-round pick, was part of Sweden's WJC team last year and had a goal and six points in seven games in that tournament.

He currently is playing with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL and recently scored his first pro North American goal.

Voullet, a 2024 fifth-round pick, is playing currently in the SHL this season with Skelleftea AIK where he has four goals and seven points in 25 games.

Bradly Nadeau is another Canes prospect who we could be seeing at the WJC as he was selected to take part in Team Canada's WJC Selection Camp and he has a pretty good shot of making the final roster too.
