The Columbus Blue Jackets have officially announced their 2025-26 home opener.

Columbus will welcome the New Jersey Devils to Nationwide Arena on October 13th, giving fans their first chance to see the new-look Blue Jackets on home ice. It'll be a good Metro Division matchup to kick off what could be a very competitive Division.

However, that won’t be the first game of the season for the Blue Jackets. They'll actually open things up on the road, facing the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena before returning home to kick off their schedule in front of the home crowd.

The full regular season schedule will be released today at 1:00 p.m. ET, and we’ll get a better idea of how things shape up early on.
