Last season, the Columbus Blue Jackets had two 30-goal scorers in Adam Fantilli (31) and Kirill Marchenko (31). That was the first time that’s happened since 2015-16 when Brandon Saad and Boone Jenner accomplished the feat.

However, in the 2025-26 season, they could have three 30-goal scorers. In 68 games last season, Kent Johnson had 24 goals. If he had played in all 82 games, he would have ended up in the 28–29 goal range. If he can get off to a good start early in the season, there’s a very good chance he can hit the 30-goal mark.

There’s also a chance albeit slim that they could have four 30-goal scorers if Dmitri Voronkov can get there. Last season, he had 24 goals in 73 games. Over 82 games that would put him in the

26-27 goal range. If he can score 30 goals as well, it would be an amazing feat for a Blue Jackets team that needed more scoring last season.

As long as Marchenko and Fantilli can hit the 30-goal mark again this season, the Blue Jackets have a very good chance at having three 30-goal scorers in the 2025-26 season. That would be a great help to push this team into the 2026 NHL playoffs.

It was his first time hitting the 30-goal mark and only the ninth time a player has done so in Columbus Blue Jackets history — the 17th occurrence overall.
