John Davidson: "He (Elvis) has NOT asked to be traded"
Davidson was asked immediately about the Elvis Merzlikins issue and trade request. "I know he has not asked to be traded, I know that," Davidson said. He also says that the team has talked to his agent about everything that's going on and that everything has "calmed down." GM Jarmo Kekalainen talked to Elvis about the situation according to Davidson.
The interview mainly consisted of talking about Elvis, his play style, his personality, and what Merzlikins needs to do to get better at playing goalie. There's no better judge of that than John Davidson.
Davidson also said Elvis Merzlikins was not being shopped. Stay tuned.
