The Columbus Blue Jackets are currently 31-29-9 with 71 points and are 6th in the Metro Division. They also sit four points out of a wild card spot. The CBJ play 7 of their last 13 games at home though, and hope to make a late push to get them closer to the playoffs.

In a strange twist, Mathieu Olivier is the one who scored the last goal against the Devils last Tuesday and scored the lone goal against the Devils on Monday. It is his 16th goal of the season.
