The Dallas Stars are still looking for their first win of 2024 against an injured Minnesota Wild team.

Nick Wosika-USA TODAY Sports - Pregame Notes (Game 39): First of Stars Back to Back Against Minnesota Wild

These two teams have built up a volatile rivalry over the years, but especially after last year's first round playoff series where the Stars defeated the Wild.

With both teams facing injuries to some of their biggest players, both teams will want to focus on coming out of this game healthy. The Stars are 0-2-1 in their last three games following a massive 8-1 win against the Chicago Blackhawks on New Years Eve. The Minnesota Wild are also having a rough start to the year at 1-2-0.

The last time these teams matched up, the Stars left with a win but they lost Thomas Harley for a few games after a hit from Brandon Duhaime. Duhaime was given a five minute major for boarding and a game misconduct.
