And this team, is on a roll.

The Stars were able to take the wind out of the sails of the Avalanche on the game, marking the return of Gabriel Landeskog to action after a 1000+ day absence.

They were down 1-0 just 8:09 left of the first period. The Avalanche carried that lead into the third period. Jamie Benn tied up the game almost halfway through the third period.

At that point, the game needed extra time.

Tyler Seguin played the hero, scoring his second goal of the playoffs just 5:31 left in overtime. However, Seguin wouldn’t have been able to score that goal without the help of one of his teammates.

Esa Lindell blocked a Artturi Lehkonen shot, not even four minutes into overtime. When Lindell did that, Lehkonen had a clear open net. Lindell saved the Stars the game.

Two minutes earlier he blocked another shot. By the time Seguin scored his goal, Lindell had blocked three shots in his 27:19 of ice time in the game.

For every Seguin, a team also needs a Lindell. Luckily for the Stars, they had both contributed to the win.
