From The Silky Mitten State: Goaltending Confidence Check

In the above video (an excerpt from today's episode of The Silky Mitten State), my co-host Connor Earegood and I chatted a bit about the state of the Detroit Red Wings crease and our confidence (or lack thereof, as the case may be) in the Red Wings' goaltending right now.

We chatted about the consistency issues and soft goals plaguing Ville Husso, a mostly sound opening to the season from James Reimer (with a few notable exceptions), and our confusion at Alex Lyon's utter lack of playing time.  We also touched on the possibility (as has come up of late in rumblings around the league) that the Red Wings might trade one of their goaltenders to a team like Carolina or Edmonton, that's starved for saves at the moment.
