The Edmonton Oilers are putting the Vancouver Canucks through the ringer. With 14 minutes left in the second period the Oilers are up 2-0 on the Canucks.
They have massively out-shot the Canucks by a 23-4 margin. So far this game, the Oilers have looked like the best team by a country (and city) mile.

Arturs Silovs is the only reason why this game is not way more lopsided than it already is. Silovs was the Canucks best player in Game six and that is holding true again for Game seven.
Of his 21 saves, none were more impressive than the one he had on Leon Draisaitl.
This shot on the power play is a goal 9.5 times out of 10. Luckily for the Canucks, Ian Cole got a piece of it before Silovs swallowed it up with his glove hand.

Silovs has been busy early - and has been incredibly sharp. Even on the two Oilers goals it is tough to fault the Canucks netminder on those goals.
There was a save earlier in the period where Silovs stood tall.

Dylan Holloway took the initial shot - which had Brett Kulak pinching on the left side and ripping a shot on net. Silovs answered the call and denied Kulak a goal.

So far the all-Canadian Game seven has not disappointed.
