Evan Bouchard scored the game winning goal for Game 4.

EDMONTON -- The series is tied.

After losing a tough game on Mothers' day - the Edmonton Oilers won a nail-bitter tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. They held a 2-0 lead going into the third period, and that's when things got hairy.

Evan Bouchard.Evan Bouchard.

The Canucks made the game interesting by scoring two goals in the first 18:19 of the game. The first from Conor Garland - a shot that Calvin Pickard had no chance of seeing or stopping. The second came from Dakota Joshua, a forward who has been a thorn in the Oilers' side.

But in the end, it was Evan Bouchard who played the hero for the Oilers - by scoring the game winning goal.

He's carried over his incredible regular season play into the post season. Bouchard is now up to four goals and 11 assists in nine games for the 2023-24 playoffs.

Now the series goes back to Vancouver for Game five - where the winner of that game can put a stranglehold on the series.
