EDMONTON -- It's never a dull day for hockey fans, especially in the playoffs.

The Edmonton Oilers are reeling from the effects of last night's 4-3 loss at the hands of their second round opponents - the Vancouver Canucks. The spirited and hard fought series appears like it has a good chance of going the distance.
Elsewhere in the hockey world, other teams are searching for a new coach - chief among those being the Toronto Maple Leafs. After reporting that Todd McLellan was a suspected candidate being interviewed for the Maple Leafs vacant position, some new footage appears to suggest that might be the case.

Yesterday morning, a clip was shared on Twitter of McLellan waiting to board a plane - supposedly from Los Angeles to Toronto.
While this doesn't confirm anything concrete - it at least provides substance to the information out there regarding Toronto's interest in McLellan. Or, he just really likes to travel to eastern Canada during May.

Whatever his reason for making the trip - the coaching carousel is definitely one to keep an eye on. McLellan is no stranger to coaching in a hostile Canadian market, as he spend several years behind the bench for the Oilers. This is certainly a story to monitor moving forward
