The Calgary Flames have representatives scouting the Oilers vs Wild game.
EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers currently find themselves behind the eight-ball in the second period of their tilt vs the Minnesota Wild.
Somewhere in the press box however - a rival team's representatives take in the game action.
Craig Conroy is one of several reported members of the Calgary Flames management taking notice of tonight's Oilers game. Of course this doesn't slow down some rumors that have swirled around the Oilers and Flames the past couple days.
In his written 32 Thoughts, Elliotte Friedman reported that the Oilers were one of many teams pushing for the services of Flames defenseman Chris Tanev.

Earlier today Frank Seravalli made an appearance on the Bob Stauffer-hosted Oilers Now show. He said that the Oilers were "keeping tabs on Tanev."
Seravalli also reported that they are trying to "fill multiple holes in one trade."
At the end of the day, the Flames are (more than likely) just doing their due diligence by scouting the Oilers. It's important to note that the Flames play the Oilers tomorrow night.
