Mike Smith has collaborated with another former Edmonton Oilers player for a hilarious new ad.

The former Edmonton Oilers goalie is living his life on his terms. After having his contract expire at the end of the 2022-23 season, he's been unofficially retired from playing.
Smith spent the entire 2022-23 season on LTIR after fighting through injuries for the whole year before. Despite only playing in 28 games he sported a 2.81 goals against average (GAA) and a .915 save percentage (SV%).
He's been quietly living his life since the end of that season. He popped up into the public eye with an appearance at Game three of the Stanley Cup Final and tried to fire up the Rogers Place crowd.
Now he's popped up again, but in a more creative way.

Tyson Barrie launched his own beer this past January called Chilly Ones. According to the Chilly Ones website, this beer only has a 3% alcohol content. Ten percent of all profits from Chilly Ones are donated to the Power to Give Charity. This charity focuses on supporting kids and communities in need, and helps get them involved in all kinds of sports.
Yesterday, Chilly Ones posted a new ad on their Instagram page.

The ad features none other than Smith. The ad opens with a clip of a donkey falling over a fence. It cuts to Smith rolling forward and saying, "Yee-haw! Be a donkey, grab a chilly one."
Now that his career in hockey is done, maybe a post-hockey career as an actor in beer commercials is in his future?
