A former Edmonton Oilers goalie is getting married later this week.

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid and his fiancee Lauren Kyle are getting married later this month. Summer is the most popular time to get married. For hockey players, this is even more the case.
In addition to McDavid, a former Oilers goalie is tying the knot.
Recent Detroit Red Wings addition Jack Campbell is getting married this week. His fiancee, Ashley Sonnenberg, took to her Instagram stories to share a few pictures.
Jack Campbell.It looks like the happy couple are at their resort destination, and enjoying some time together before officially becoming married. A few Oilers-related fan accounts have shared a couple of those pictures on Twitter.
The couple appear to be in a Mexico resort, close to the Gulf of California. By the view seen in the pictures and videos, it looks like a wonderful place to exchange vows.
Campbell and the Oilers recently parted ways at the end of June. The final three years of his contract were bought out after he was put on waivers.
It didn't take long for Campbell to find a new team. On July 1st he signed a one-year $775,000 with the Red Wings.
