Adam Henrique isn't the only Anaheim Ducks forward of interest to the Edmonton Oilers.
EDMONTON -- With 13 days left until the trade deadline the Edmonton Oilers are reportedly looking at all of their options.
On Saturday Headlines Elliotte Friedman shared an update on a player of interest for the Oilers. Apparently Adam Henrique isn't the only Anaheim Ducks forward drawing the eyes of the Oilers brass.
Sam Carrick is on their radar - potentially as a bottom-six forward.
Carrick would certainly add grit and sandpaper to the complexion of the Oilers depth forwards. He's not incredibly offensive, but he brings physicality in spades with 124 hits in 56 games this season.
Derek Ryan has been a serviceable fourth line center. However in two of the Oilers last five games he has played less than eight minutes - which is hardly a recipe for success, even for a bottom six player.
