Tristan Jarry will play his first home game for the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday, a TNT matchup against the New Jersey Devils. Jarry, who posted a shutout in his last start, gets the nod again, despite the Oilers taking more of a rotation style versus a win-and-you 're-in approach.
Connor Ingram has played well. Jarry has played well. When asked if he's trying to keep everyone fresh, head coach Kris Knoblauch said, "Right now, we're just balancing the goaltenders. They're pretty much rotating back and forth, but a lot of that has to do with Jarry coming back from injury."

Knoblauch went on to say, "They're both playing really well and we feel confident putting either one of those guys in and playing back-to-backs, but after the week, we'll probably reevaluate what that schedule is. We kind of have it mapped out since Jarry came back, what it was going to look like for the next seven to ten days. But after that, times up."
Jarry has a 4-0-1 record for the Oilers since joining the team. He played three games before going down with an injury, but since his return, has looked extremely poised and solid.
He's posted a 2.58 goals against average and a .907 save percentage.

Kasperi Kapanen was on the ice, but will not play after going down in the last game and suffering a slight lower-body injury.
Vasily Podkolzin is being bumped up to the first line and will get first-unit power play time, taking the place of Jake Walman. The lines were also shuffled around, as Jack Roslovic was moved up to the second line and back to a winger spot.
