Connor McDavid, Connor Brown and Connor Ungar Have One Special Thing in Common (That Isn't Their First Name)
There's something unique about all of the Connor's that are signed by the Edmonton Oilers.
EDMONTON -- Call it luck, coincidence or serendipity - there is one thing that connects Connor McDavid, Connor Brown and Connor Ungar.

The obvious response to that is probably, "they are all named Connor." While it's true that the Edmonton Oilers have three players under contract - all with the first name Connor - that's not enough of a reason to write a story about.
So what is so special about McDavid, Brown and Ungar?
Their birthdays.
A good portion of Oilers fans already know that McDavid's birthday is January 13th. Brown - on the other hand - was born on January 14th. That's an incredible coincidence, to have two players on one team (named Connor) who have birthday's right after each other.
It gets better.
Ungar's birthday is also in January - January 12th.
While it doesn't affect the outcome of any games, it's certainly an intriguing piece of trivia - to have one single team have three players named Connor who have a birthday one after the other.
