EDMONTON -- Connor McDavid wasn't the only Edmonton Oilers player setting records against the San Jose Sharks.

While it is true that McDavid had an unforgettable night, there were multiple players who contributed to the win - who's efforts should be recognized.

Three players recorded three point nights - Adam Henrique, Dylan Holloway and Darnell Nurse. Henrique and Holloway both had a goal and two assists while Nurse added three apples to his assist totals for the year.

Six players had two points - Zach Hyman, Leon Draisaitl, Warren Foegele, Corey Perry, Evan Bouchard and McDavid. Perry, McDavid, Hyman and Bouchard all had one goal and one assist while Foegele scored twice and Draisaitl collected his 64th and 65th assists.

Three Oilers registered a single point - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Cody Ceci and Brett Kulak. Ceci scored the Oilers seventh goal of the night, while Nugent-Hopkins and Kulak added an assist to their point totals for the season.

That's 12 players who recorded at least a point in a 9-2 victory. What's even more impressive about this win, is the volume of players with multi-point games.

This was the first time since November of 1985 that the Oilers had nine players have multiple points in the same game.

It is important for a team like the Oilers to get this many players contributing with the Stanley Cup playoffs right around the corner. Almost every single player in that dressing room has played in the post season before - another huge benefit for the entire team.

With two games left of the regular season, Oilers fans won't have to wait long to see how this group will perform when the rubber meets the road.
