Following their heartbreaking Game 3 loss, Kris Knoblauch has elected to inject some new players into the lineup. In doing so, he’s upset the established order and created new line combinations and pairings.
The Oilers could do themselves a huge favor with a win on Monday night. A win gives them a 3-1 series lead heading back to Vegas.

Kasperi Kapanen and Troy Stecher will make their 2025 playoff debuts for the Oilers on Monday night. Stecher has been cleared to play for some time, while Kapanen has been a healthy scratch.
Kapanen has a solid role as a penalty killer, and his speed is impressive. Stecher is a fierce competitor who will bring fire to the Oilers' blueline.
The line of Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Zach Hyman are reunited (once again). They have been a go-to combination all season long.
Vasily Podkolzin and Kapanen will flank Leon Draisaitl. Two physical and speedy wingers playing with Draisaitl is the perfect mix for a successful line.
Adam Henrique, Evander Kane, and Connor Brown will be the third line. Corey Perry gets bumped down to the fourth line where he will play with Trent Frederic and Mattias Janmark.
The defense pairings are a mix of old and new. Brett Kulak and Evan Bouchard start as a pairing. Darnell Nurse will be paired with Troy Stecher, while Jake Walman and John Klingberg will stick together.
