Kris Knoblauch almost threw shade at the Los Angeles Kings.
EDMONTON -- Winning a huge game can have multiple different effects on a person.

For the Edmonton Oilers players, the most common feeling has been relief combined with eagerness to get the next series underway. It's evident that this team has been laser focused since Game one of this series, and closing things out on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Kings further cemented that.
With the swirl of emotions, certain things can slip through the cracks or cause momentary lapses in judgement. Or said another way - you can default to muscle memory instead of being completely cognizant of what you are supposed to be doing.
Kris Knoblauch had a moment like this last night. After the final buzzer had sounded, Knoblauch started doing what he always did.
Knoblauch clearly is heading for the exit - then doubles back and goes the other way to go out for the handshake line. It's not incredibly clear if someone said something to him or not, but it looks like he remembered all on his own.
This will be a moment that he and his family (and players) can laugh about for days to come - even if the humor was lost on him in the moment.
