Edmonton Oilers' head coach guaranteed the return of one forward to the lineup during the Stanley Cup Final.

EDMONTON -- Good things come to those who wait.

Patience does not come easily, just ask any Edmonton Oilers fan who has been cheering for the team for a considerable length of time. It doesn't help matters when the team hadn't sniffed the Stanley Cup Final for 18 years.
But just like the fans, the players need to exercise patience too. Corey Perry did when he sat in the press box for a time during the series against the Vancouver Canucks.

Warren Foegele is currently doing the same.
The hard-working forward has been a healthy scratch since Game three against the Dallas Stars, the same game that Perry was inserted back into the lineup. As the team marches toward Game one of the Cup Final on Saturday, his next opportunity to play is unclear.
Kris Knoblauch spoke to the media yesterday and said, "Warren will be playing in this series." While he didn't specify which game, he left things open ended for when Foegele could draw back in.

The Oilers have the blessing of forward depth, with the curse that there are not enough lineup spots for everyone on the roster to play every game. This allows each player to have their moment to shine - and it's up to them to make the most of what they are given.
Foegele's time will come, and when it does, you can bet that he will be ready to make it count.
