EDMONTON -- That was the response fans wanted.

Last night's game played out a lot differently for the Edmonton Oilers than Game three. Instead of roaring out of the gates, they had to weather a strong push from the visiting Dallas Stars.
Instead of crumbling, they gathered themselves, and went on to score five unanswered goals to tie up the series and get the win. Five different goal scorers contributed to the win: Ryan McLeod, Evan Bouchard, Mattias Janmark, Leon Draisaitl and Mattias Ekholm.

But the Oilers won more than just the game — one of the Stars top defenseman may miss some time.
Chris Tanev blocked an Evander Kane shot during the second period. He was then seen hobbling down the tunnel to the Stars' dressing room.
The puck appears to go off of his skate/ankle area. There needs to be a considerable amount of pain there, considering the things that Tanev has played through over the years.

During his post game scrum, head coach for the Stars Pete DeBoer didn't have a substantial update. Other than to say that they have "fingers crossed" that Tanev can play Game five.

Losing Tanev would be a massive blow for the Stars, but would only help the Oilers in their quest to advance past the Western Conference Final and play for the Stanley Cup.
