The Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks each have the opportunity to close out this series and advance to the Conference final tonight. Who will win tonight feels like a massive coin flip.

No team has won back-to-back games in this series yet - will that change tonight or will the pattern continue?

    Brock Boeser.

Regardless of patterns, the Canucks announced a massive loss yesterday for their team. Brock Boeser will miss Game seven.

According to Elliotte Friedman's report, it's a non life-threatening blood clotting issue. He has an unknown timeline for a return to playing.

Boeser is the Canucks top scorer in these playoffs - with seven goals and 12 points in 12 games. This is a massive blow for the Canucks.

Team medical staff discovered a blood clot in Boeser's leg after Game six, according to Frank Seravalli. Seravalli reports that Boeser has been placed on blood thinning medication and is not expected to be available again this season.

Despite the competitive nature of sports, Boeser's health here is of the utmost importance. Hopefully this issue remains non life-threatening and Boeser can go back to full health.
