Elliotte Friedman, David Pagnotta, and other insiders are reporting that Viktor Arvidsson and the Boston Bruins are discussing a trade. Pagnotta specifically has reported that Arvidsson has waived his No-Trade-Clause to help facilitate the move.

Neither team has made the trade official at the time of this writing. The Bruins currently have $12,743,333 in cap space. According to Pierre LeBrun, the return for Arvidsson is a mid-round draft pick. Ryan Rishaug has reported that the return is a 5th-round pick in 2027.

The Oilers have now confirmed the trade.

The Oilers have a few players they want to target to help improve their team. This is certainly a story to monitor as the market for Free Agency will open up soon.
