EDMONTON -- Things aren't going well with the Toronto Maple Leafs. But Edmonton Oilers fans may recognize this particular expression of frustration.

They have just started the third period against the Boston Bruins and were down 3-0, before Mitch Marner scored. The final score would remain at 3-1.

At 5:43 of the third, Marner got a beauty of a shot through Jeremy Swayman.

Before that moment, the end of the second period featured a heated moment on the bench between Marner, Auston Matthews and William Nylander.

When looking at the video clip you can see Matthews talking about something he isn't a fan of, and then you can see Nylander mouth the words, "stop f***ing crying bro. This isn't junior hockey."

Both comments seemed to be directed towards Marner - who was seen throwing his gloves off after the fact.

Showing this level of frustration with each other is a good thing - after all, Corey Perry, Evander Kane and Leon Draisaitl all had interactions like this one earlier this season.

While there hasn't been any light shed on the Draisaitl conversation with Kane - when Perry and Kane had there conversation, they shared that it was something game related that caused the heightened emotions.

At any rate, it's actually a good thing when the team's leaders show this level of emotion. It shows that they care and they want to win. Both things should be a comfort to Maple Leafs fans tonight.
