EDMONTON -- Evander Kane is not a stranger to physicality.

The Edmonton Oilers power forward ranked sixth overall during the regular season with 250 hits. He has carried that tough play into the post season with 11 hits in three games.

With the Los Angeles Kings aware of his physical play - Kane has been the target of several hits from the Kings players.

This hit in particular was dirty - Blake Lizotte slewfoot Kane on this play. You can clearly see him take out Kane's legs with his own legs. He lands backwards which could have been much worse than what it ended up being.

Of course this resulted in Kane having some conversations with the referees after this play. He came out onto the ice and had an exchange of words with them.

Kane would later get justice with penalties called when he was checked in the head later in the third period. Andreas Englund would receive an extra two minute penalty on top of five for fighting - that he got for answering the bell by fighting Kane.

With tempers boiling over we will see how much of these emotions will transfer to Game 4 on Sunday.
