EDMONTON -- The importance of tonight's game cannot be overstated.

The Edmonton Oilers have the opportunity to put the Vancouver Canucks between a rock and a hard place. If they win tonight, they go up to a 3-2 series advantage - one win away from going to the Western Conference final.
For such an important game it makes sense that players would stick to their superstitions - or even double down on them. So it's noteworthy when someone goes against the grain.
Enter Zach Hyman - sometimes referred to as "Shaq Hyman". Earlier today he was gifted with a signed Shaq jersey.
This is very cool - especially when you consider that Hyman gifted Shaq with a jersey and stick a mere week ago. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a face-to-face meeting between the two in the near future.
Today, Hyman came to the rink in his new threads. He was still looking his dapper self, despite his unconventional attire.
No matter your thoughts on superstition - it's very cool to see this budding friendship.
