It's Bo Horvat's return to Vancouver on a four-game Wednesday. Check out your streaming options for tonight.

Expected Starters

(ranked by matchup)

Pyotr Kochetkov, CAR vs. PHI (38% rostered)

This will be Kochetkov’s second straight start after blanking the Lightning in his previous start. It was perhaps the easiest shutout of his young career, stopping all 22 shots he faced without Nikita Kucherov in the lineup. This matchup will be much easier on paper, and on a light night with four games, Kochetkov’s easily the best streaming option.

Lukas Dostal, ANA at COL (34% rostered)

It’s tempting. The Ducks are the comeback kids – six third-period comeback through 15 games, an NHL record – and the Avs are reeling, unable to find any sort of consistency. Unless you really have to, I’d still shy away from Dostal because this matchup has so much blow-up potential.

Joey Daccord, SEA at EDM (7% rostered)

The Kraken are having trouble scoring and they’ve lost four of their past five. The Oilers, meanwhile, won in Kris Knoblauch’s debut and may be experiencing a new coaching bump. The analytics hint the Oilers should be much better than their record indicates, and that their goal-scoring should return in spades. It’s a good sign Daccord’s getting his second straight start, and perhaps he’s a long-term hold, but I’d sit him in this matchup with the two teams trending in opposite directions.

Forwards (Add/Hold)

Owen Tippett, RW, PHI at CAR (33% rostered)

Tippett fell out of favor for a while with a four-game cold streak but he’s snapped out of it with four points in his past two games. Historically, Flyers-Canes matchups have featured its fair share of goals. In their past eight matchups – all Canes wins – they’ve scored at least six goals in five of those games. While the Canes allow a league-low 26 shots per game, they’ve been allowing more goals than usual, setting up another productive game for the Flyers’ top shooter.

Ilya Mikheyev, LW/RW, VAN vs. NYI (17% rostered)

An underrated fantasy asset in 12 or 14-team leagues, Mikheyev’s fantasy value is derived completely from the fact that he plays on the top line with leading scorer Elias Pettersson and Andrei Kuzmenko. He’s scored three goals in his past three games with pretty good shot volume. The Isles are normally stout on defense but not so lately with Ilya Sorokin struggling.

Adam Henrique, C/LW, ANA at COL (6% rostered)

Leo Carlsson did not play Tuesday against the Preds and unlikely to play Wednesday for load management reasons. (Don’t get me started). In his place will be Henrique, who skated a season-high 20:03 against the Preds and scored his third goal of the season. The Avs are an intimidating opponent but their goaltending has been subpar this season, and with the minutes Henrique will get, it puts him in a good position to establish a scoring streak.

Jonathan Drouin, LW, COL vs. ANA (4% rostered)

The Avs switch up their lines so much that it’s difficult to predict, but it’s possible that at some point or another, Drouin will find himself on Nathan MacKinnon’s line. The former junior teammates still have some chemistry, and after sitting out a game as a healthy scratch, Drouin has now scored a point in each of his past two games. It’s a high-risk, high-reward move because Drouin can also post zeroes across the board.

Sam Gagner, C, EDM vs. SEA (1% rostered)

A rash of injuries has pushed Gagner higher up the depth chart and he’ll play on Connor McDavid’s right wing for the second straight game. His ice time is limited, but sharing the ice with McDavid should boost your profile on offense. The Kraken are starting Joey Daccord for the second straight game, who allowed five goals in his previous start, the fourth time in five games the Kraken have allowed at least four goals.

Defensemen (Add/Hold)

No suggestions for tonight. It’s a thin position and five of the eight teams in action do not feature a second defenseman worth rostering long term.

Bowen Byram, COL vs. ANA (34% rostered)

For whatever reason, Byram always seems to fare well against the Ducks. In four career games, he’s scored three points on 15 shots. Though the Ducks are a much stronger opponent this season, Byram still possesses immense upside on offense even though he’s had a disappointing season so far and has yet to live up to lofty expectations.
