Joey Daccord, SEA vs. PHI (41% rostered)

The Kraken are on a roll with a three-game winning streak, and they've been fantastic at limiting goals. The Flyers are in a tough spot; they're playing the second half of a back-to-back with Carter Hart — who's struggled lately — likely at the other end of the ice, and their offense comes and goes in spurts. Daccord has a .936 SP and 1.90 GAA in nine games in December.

Alex Lyon, DET vs. NSH (20% rostered)

He's finally back! This is Lyon's first appearance in roughly two weeks; his last start was on Dec. 16 in 1-0 loss to the Flyers. With James Reimer struggling, this is a nice change of pace for the Wings, who have been unable to overcome poor goaltending despite a potent offense with Patrick Kane. We shall see if Lyon can perform well enough to earn the win and perhaps supplant Reimer for the starting job (until Ville Husso returns), and while the Preds have been surprisingly impressive this season, the Wings should have the edge.

Charlie Lindgren, WSH at NYI (46% rostered)

The Caps will likely go back to Lindgren after Darcy Kuemper lost against the Rangers, 5-1, on Wednesday. Lindgren's been a strong goalie this season but I'd be wary of this matchup due to the Isles' offense; it's climbed from bottom-five in GF/GP to 20th, and boast some solid goal scorers in Bo Horvat and Brock Nelson. The Caps don't have the same kind of offensive firepower to compete, and if they win, it'll be a low-scoring affair. That's the best-case scenario for Lindgren.

Elvis Merzlikins, CLB vs. TOR (33% rostered)

This will be the Jackets' third matchup against the Leafs within two weeks after a split decision in the first two games. Merzlikins started their first matchup and nearly blew a 5-0 lead while Daniil Tarasov took the loss in their second matchup, 4-1. Between two volatile teams, anything could happen; it's still best to shy away from this matchup considering the elite scoring talent the Leafs have on their roster. There's also a chance that Merzlikins doesn't start with Tarasov and Spencer Martin on the roster.

Petr Mrazek, CHI at DAL (28% rostered)

Mrazek will likely get the start after a strong 37-save performance against the Jets, and this is the first of two consecutive road games in Dallas. With a .911 SP on the season, Mrazek's been a good source of saves and save percentage this season, and that's about all you can expect in this matchup against a much stronger team. The Hawks are 1-4-3 in their past eight matchups against the Stars.
