Devon Levi, BUF vs. ARI (49% rostered)

Levi will get his second straight start after a strong performance against the Habs on Saturday in 3-2 shootout loss. The Sabres deserved better after dominating much of the game, but they were stymied by a career-best performance from Cayden Primeau. The Coyotes are stumbling a bit with two straight losses and they will be starting Karel Vejmelka, who had recently taken a backseat to Connor Ingram. The home team is 27-12-5 all-time in this matchup and the Sabres have a slight advantage.

Karel Vejmelka, ARI at BUF (25% rostered)

This will be Vejmelka’s first start in eight games after allowing four goals on just 11 shots against the Blues in his previous start. It’s been a tough season for Vejmelka, and the Coyotes have had trouble providing goal support over the past two games with only four goals. There’s definitely a chance for an upset, but the Coyotes mediocre road record (5-6-2) and Vejmelka not having played for so long gives me some pause. It’s better to roll the dice with Levi’s upside with their full lineup rather than the Coyotes’ 11-7 set up with three forwards (Barrett Hayton, Jack McBain, Travis Boyd) out of the lineup.

James Reimer, DET at DAL (9% rostered)

I don’t like this matchup for the Wings. They’re without both of their top centers in Dylan Larkin and J.T. Compher, and the Stars are looking to bounce back from a 6-1 loss to the Knights on home ice in their previous game. Jake Oettinger may not have been sharp, allowing 15 goals in his past three games, but the Wings are lacking a lot of firepower to take advantage as well. This will be Reimer’s first start since Nov. 16 when he allowed five goals on 34 shots in a loss against the Sens.

Dan Vladar, CGY at COL (7% rostered)

The Avs have won just once in their past six games but no doubt hold the advantage against the Flames. This will be Vladar’s second start in four games after Dustin Wolf started consecutive games against the Canes and Devils. Vladar’s .877 SP doesn’t breed a lot of confidence, and the Flames are 1-5-0 in their last six matchups against the Avs. It’s also worth noting Vladar ranks 52nd out of 60 goalies in high-danger save percentage at 5-on-5 (min. 300 TOI), and the Avs have some of the most talented offensive players in the league.
