(NEW) Dustin Wolf, CGY vs. SJ (10% rostered)
Wolf will get the start, his first action since Dec. 12 after getting called up recently with Dan Vladar on IR. The highly touted goalie gets a pretty easy matchup; Logan Couture and Tomas Hertl will not dress for the Sharks, though Mikael Granlund has returned. Wolf will be one of the top streaming options against a bottom feeder. Not convinced Wolf will be brilliant, but a win should be very attainable.
Nico Daws, NJ vs. LA (11% rostered)
Why not? With two straight wins and only three goals allowed, Daws is the Devils' best option right now. Vitek Vanecek is day-to-day with an illness and Akira Schmid hasn't proven his worth this season, and just when you thought the Kings were turning a corner with two straight wins, they were blown out by the Sabres, 7-0. I think the Kings will come out stronger, but I like this matchup for the Devils.
Alex Nedeljkovic, PIT at CHI (14% rostered)
The Pens are playing the second game of a back-to-back having lost to the Panthers, but they should be able to win this matchup, right? It's an odd schedule quirk where the Penguins play a single road game in Chicago before returning home to face the Kings on Sunday.
This feels like the ultimate trap game, so I can't bring myself to name Nedeljkovic as the top streaming option, and his career numbers against the Hawks aren't good. There is some risk even with the Connor Bedard-less Hawks; their current seven-game losing streak is the longest of the season, and all streaks have to end some time. I think there's a little more risk here than usual, but I would not begrudge anyone starting Nedeljkovic in this matchup.
John Gibson, ANA at OTT (37% rostered)
It's tempting because Gibson's career numbers against the Sens are excellent -- 3-2-2 with a .941 SP and 1.76 GAA -- but the Sens are on a roll with four straight wins and the Ducks are coming off two straight losses where they've been outscored 10-3. The Sens have also won both of their past two meetings and outscored them, 8-1. There's definitely some upset potential, but I'd pass with so many other options out there.
