Wednesday's waiver wire targets include a pair of red-hot Ducks, Senators center Josh Norris and Sharks rookie William Eklund.
Troy Terry, RW, ANA vs. SJ (40% rostered)
Adam Henrique, C/LW, ANA vs. SJ (28% rostered)
Terry and Henrique's points streak re both at five games. The Ducks' top line with Henrique and Leo Carlsson has been humming, and Henrique's been fantastic across the board with shots, faceoff wins and hits.
Terry usually has more offensive upside but there's not a big difference separating him and Henrique right now. It just depends on what position slot you need to fill and what you're looking for.
Josh NorrisJosh Norris, C, OTT at DET (29% rostered)
Norris has four assists in his past six games and wins plenty of faceoffs while dishing out some hits. That's good multi-category coverage, and note Norris' line with Brady Tkachuk and Drake Batherson led all Sens lines in even-strength ice time with Norris skating with PP2 for added value.
Michael Rasmussen, C/LW, DET vs. OTT (5% rostered)
Andrew Copp, C, DET vs. OTT (3% rostered)
Game flow will dictate ice time, but note Copp's line with Rasmussen and Christian Fischer led the Wings in even-strength ice time against the Knights. Both players are on two-game points streaks. The drawback is neither player plays on the power play.
William Eklund, C/LW, SJ at ANA (4% rostered)
With Tomas Hertl expected to be unavailable again, look for Eklund's line with Anthony Duclair and Alexander Barabanov to lead the offense just as they did in the previous game.
Eklund is coming off consecutive two-assist efforts and the Ducks shouldn't be a difficult opponent to score on, allowing the seventh-most goals per game.
