Streaming Options

Casey DeSmith, VAN vs. CHI (14% rostered)

Just a hunch, but perhaps DeSmith gets a start here with Demko coming off an exhaustive 42-save effort Saturday against the Leafs. This is a good matchup to throw your backup into, anyway, though that's not a slight against DeSmith. If he does start, expect him to be one of the best streaming options for Monday. 

David Rittich, LA vs. SJ (10% rostered)

The Kings have already announced Rittich will start, which will be his third straight. This is an easy one, relatively speaking, after he allowed just one goal on 23 shots against the Rangers. Rittich is a strong streaming option and also worth holding onto until the Kings decide what they want to do in net, whether that's to acquire another goalie or not, or wait until Cam Talbot regains his form, whichever may come first. 

For once, "Big Save Dave" is living up to his nickname. 

Nico Daws, NJ vs. VEG (16% rostered)

The Devils haven't announced their starter against the Knights as of Sunday evening, but I suspect they will go with Vitek Vanecek after Daws allowed six goals against the Stars. Daws isn't ready for primetime yet, and coming off a blowout loss, it makes sense to go back to Vanecek again, though everyone is holding their breath. 

If Daws starts against the Knights, that's a sign the coaching staff still have plenty of confidence in him. Still, and even with the Knights missing William Karlsson and Jack Eichel, I'd be very cautious about this start.
