Daniel Vladar, CGY at CHI (4% rostered)
Vladar likely gets the start after Jacob Markstrom started Saturday and made 39 saves. This is a great matchup for Vladar, who is looking for his third straight win against a Hawks team missing Connor Bedard and eight other players on IR. Vladar will be a popular streamer on the final day of the fantasy week.
Alex LyonAlex Lyon, DET at ANA (33% rostered)
Lyon should get the start because he's the Wings' best option and he'll be looking for his fourth win in five games. The Ducks, meanwhile, have lost four straight and having a lot of trouble scoring. This is a great streaming option for Sunday.
(NEW) Karel Vejmelka, ARI vs. WPG (37% rostered)
The Jets have won five straight, which gives me some pause, but Vejmelka has also put in some strong performances lately, though admittedly it was against the weaker Sharks and Sabres. The Coyotes will give Connor Ingram a break, and I'm not enamored by this game. It's an earlier than usual start in Glendale, and the Jets are favorites. If anything, you're just hoping for a good save percentage.
Lukas Dostal, ANA vs. DET (7% rostered)
You're looking for a good save percentage in this matchup with Dostal, who made 55 saves in a losing effort against the Leafs. The Wings are struggling to keep pucks out of their net, but they won't have to worry about that if they dominate puck possession and their offense has been good. Is there some upset potential? Yes, but I wouldn't bank on it as a last-ditch attempt to end the week in fantasy.
Arvid Soderblom, CHI vs. CGY (2% rostered)
Soderblom will likely get the start in the Hawks' rotation. He has not won a game since Nov. 24 against the Leafs, and even if he turns in a strong performance, it's unlikely the Hawks can provide enough goal support to help Soderblom earn the win. The Flames' three-game winning streak was snapped Saturday against the Flyers, but they managed to keep it close.
Editor's note: Petr Mrazek gets the start. After the Flames spoiled a good effort from Jacob Markstrom, expect their players to come out with a better effort even though it's the second game of a back-to-back. Mrazek is still one of the bottom-tier options for Sunday, though he may not be the worst with Dostal vs. Red Wings or Vejmelka vs. Jets.
