Kaapo KahkonenKaapo Kahkonen, SJ at ANA (4% rostered)
Mackenzie Blackwood is coming off a shutout but it's likely Kahkonen's turn with a back-to-back. I'd prefer Blackwood in this matchup, obviously, but I don't think Kahkonen's a bad streaming option with two quality starts in his past three appearances.
The season series is tied 1-1 with only a one goal differential, so there's a chance for a win if you're willing to take the risk. Kahkonen is 5-1-3 with a .904 SP and 2.85 all-time against the Sharks.
John Gibson, ANA vs. SJ (37% rostered)
Gibson's numbers against the Sharks in his career (7-7-5, 2.97 GAA, .905 SP) and this season (1-1-0, 2.55 GAA, .886 SP) aren't encouraging and they're trending down. The Sharks are missing a few key players, including forwards Tomas Hertl and Mikael Granlund, but I would still be wary of starting Gibson against them.
The Sharks come in with a little more momentum with four wins in their past five games, but it's a toss-up between one of the league's worst home teams against one of the league's worst road teams. I'm not confident Gibson can get the win, and even less confident he can provide a good save percentage.
David Rittich, LA at NSH (22% rostered)
The Kings have not announced their starter as of Tuesday evening and it would not surprise me if they went with Rittich, who started the previous game. However, Rittich allowed four goals and was tagged with the loss, and the Kings might want to give Talbot the last start before he heads to the All-Star Game and the Kings take a break until Feb. 10.
Normally, I wouldn't mind streaming Talbot or Rittich against the Preds, but given how awful the Kings have been lately, and seeing how there's another seven days' worth of games for Week 17, I'd sit both of them just out of caution.
