Devon Levi, BUF at CLB (13% rostered)

With Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen getting the start Wednesday in Pittsburgh, look for Levi to get the nod in Columbus. He's been excellent so far this season with a .919 SP in two games and certainly has a chance to wrestle the No. 1 job away from Luukkonen. He's already fended off James Reimer, who was signed in the summer as insurance but waived and claimed by the Ducks following the Global Series in Czechia. Another strong start should really make the Sabres re-consider their goalie rotation going forward. 

The Jackets are coming off an emotional home opener honoring the Gaudreau brothers and expected to start backup Daniil Tarasov, who allowed four goals on 30 shots in his season debut. Levi definitely has the edge here. 

Arvid Soderblom, CHI vs. SJ (1% rostered)

This is a good matchup for Soderblom if he gets the start. He allowed just two goals on 35 shots in his season debut despite getting tagged with the loss against the Jets, and now faces a winless team that's scored just six goals in three games. The Sharks will be without top prospect Macklin Celebrini, taking a huge bite out of their offense. 

The Blackhawks' 1-2-1 record doesn't really show it, but they're an improved team from last season, having beaten the Oilers, 5-2, and losing to the Flames and Jets on the road by a two-goal margin in total. This will be Soderblom's first career start against the Sharks.

Philipp Grubauer, SEA vs. PHI (15% rostered)

It looks like the Kraken will rotate Grubauer and Joey Daccord and it'll be Grubauer's turn after Daccord won their previous game, 7-3, against the Preds. Grubauer doesn't instill a lot of confidence, but the matchup certainly looks good; the Flyers are playing their fourth road game in six nights and they've played a lot of extra hockey, too, winning in a shootout in the season opener in Vancouver and then losing in overtime in Edmonton on Tuesday. 

Fatigue may be the Flyers' biggest enemy in this matchup, while the Kraken offense seems to have figured something out with 12 goals scored in their two wins. They've been very mediocre on offense since the franchise's inception, and perhaps that changes this year with a more experienced Matty Beniers and the addition of Shane Wright and Brandon Montour in the lineup.

Cayden Primeau, MON vs. LA (2% rostered)

This matchup certainly won't be for the faint of heart but it's worth considering because the Kings are playing the second half of a back-to-back and playing their fifth road game in eight days. David Rittich was pulled against the Leafs in favor of Pheonix Copley, who's filling in for Darcy Kuemper (lower body), and Copley might get the start. 

Primeau allowed six goals on 29 shots (.793 SP) in his season debut and the Habs are coming off a 6-3 loss to the Pens, but they've had two days' rest and they've been historically been much tougher to beat at home against the Kings even though they've lost six straight games against them. 

Casey DeSmith, DAL at WSH (11% rostered)

Based on the game day skate, it looks like DeSmith will be tasked with maintaining the Stars' perfect record. DeSmith posted a shutout in his first start of the season and the Stars should be favored here. The Caps aren't a high-upside offensive team, so I like this start for DeSmith. The Stars are better and deeper and DeSmith has faced the Caps plenty of times as a former Penguin, with a career 4-2-1/2.38/.915 record.
