A meaningless game for the Wild but still a potential win with the Ducks losing seven of their past eight. While the Pacific Division crown is still up for grabs, the Ducks aren’t playing like they want it, and they’ve allowed at least four goals in all of their losses. The Wild sat several key players last night and it’s unlikely they’ll sit for two (or three, if you’re Mats Zuccarell) games in a row. Wallstedt has been sharp; despite a 3-3-2 record, he has a .927 SP and sparking 1.97 GAA.
Vitek Vanecek, UTA vs. WPG (3% rostered) – FanDuel $7,600
Karel Vejmelka is dealing with an undisclosed issue and if he’s not available, look for Vanecek to get his second straight start. Ideally, the Mammoth want to finish as the first wild card seed to avoid facing the Avs in the first round, making this a pretty important game for them. The Jets are playing the second game of a back-to-back and the Mammoth should be plenty motivated to end their two-game losing streak so they can head into the playoffs with some momentum. They’re a strong team at home with 21 wins, tied for sixth-most in the West.
