Goalies

Jakub Dobes, MTL at NJ (53% rostered) - FanDuel $7,600

Dobes will be going for his fifth straight win and keeping opponents to two goals or less for the seventh straight game. He’s been a big reason why the Habs have ripped off seven wins in a row, though this is a tough test against a red-hot Jack Hughes. The Habs, however, are the much superior team. Expect a win, though a few more goals allowed than usual.

Arturs Silovs, PIT vs. FLA (15% rostered) - FanDuel $7,800

Silovs likely gets the first crack against the Panthers in a back-to-back series after seeing Stuart Skinner take the two previous starts. The Pens offense should be able to provide plenty of goal support, and with basically half of the Panthers’ regulars injured, this should be a very favorable matchup for the Pens. Don’t expect a great save percentage, but the Pens are in line for a win.

Jesper Wallstedt, MIN at OTT (45% rostered) - FanDuel $7,700

Wallstedt has been solid this season though he’s played more sparingly lately. He has just one win in his past six starts even though he allowed more than three goals just once during that span. The Sens are reeling a bit with three losses in their past four, though they did bounce back nicely in a win against the Sabres after a disastrous game against the Panthers. However, they’re still very inconsistent and the bet is that the Sens won’t be able to string two good games together, especially against a tough opponent.

Alex Lyon, BUF at WSH (40% rostered) - FanDuel $7,700

The Sabres have lost four of their past six so be wary of overrating them, though they still should have a distinct advantage over the Caps. Lyon has been shaky in his two previous starts, allowing 10 goals on 52 shots (.808 SP), so stream Lyon only if the above options aren’t available.

Anton Forsberg, LA vs. TOR (7% rostered) - FanDuel $7,800

A hunch that Forsberg will get this start after Darcy Kuemper’s disastrous start cost the Kings another game, though they did manage to earn a point in a shootout. Forsberg has allowed just one goal in his previous two appearances while facing 35 shots, and the Leafs has not been consistent or effective in their last stretch.

Ville Husso, ANA vs. CGY (4% rostered) - FanDuel $7,700

Husso can be a dicey play but the Ducks should earn the win. They’re playing the second game of a back-to-back though they’ll be on home ice, and the Flames have a bottom-five offense. The Ducks can sweep the season series with a win, though all three previous games were decided in extra time. Husso likely won’t provide a lot of saves or a good save percentage, so he’s only worth streaming in leagues that value wins.

Yaroslav Askarov, SJ vs. NSH (34% rostered) - FanDuel $7,500

The Sharks have won four in a row and looks like their goaltending and defense is back in order, though it’s still not great. Askarov has won two in a row despite allowing seven goals, and the Preds offense is not to be underestimated. This will likely be a close game with both teams featuring plenty of offensive firepower, but the Sharks enter this matchup with more positive momentum as the Preds have lost three of their past four with only five goals scored in the losses.
