Buffalo's JJ Peterka, coming off a hat-trick performance, and Vancouver's Pius Suter enter Friday's matchups on hot streaks.

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.
Dmitri Voronkov, LW/RW, CBJ at UTA (48% rostered)
Adam Fantilli, C, CBJ at UTA (27% rostered)
Kent Johnson, C/LW/RW, CBJ at UTA (17% rostered)
The Jackets came up with just two goals against Vegas, which is below their usual output. I think their offense will produce more against Utah, even if it's a back-to-back. As usual, I think Fantilli's your best option, and he scored the Jackets' first goal last night. Johnson's an effective player who finds the score sheet with regularity, and he started the game-winning play in overtime and finished with one assist.
Nick Schmaltz, C/RW, UTA vs. CBJ (35% rostered)
A proven top-line player with 11 points in his past 10 games facing a team playing the second half of a back-to-back and starting their mediocre backup? Sign me up! While Utah's offense has gone a little quiet - just five goals scored in their past three games - note the Jackets are playing the second half of a back-to-back and expected to start Daniil Tarasov, who has struggled for most of the season and allowed six goals in his most recent start.
JJ Peterka, LW/RW, BUF vs. NSH (29% rostered)
Jiri Kulich, C, BUF vs. NSH (1% rostered)
Peterka (and linemate Tage Thompson) are coming off hat-trick performances in their previous game against the Bruins, and here's hoping the hot streak continues. Coach Lindy Ruff seems to be quite happy with the chemistry on his top line, and Peterka adds some extra value with a role on PP1.
Kulich's value is much more muted because he doesn't play the PP and generally skates fewer minutes than both Peterka and Thompson. However, with two red-hot wingers on his flanks, he might pick up a point again. He's scored five points in his past three games. The Preds may start backup Justus Annunen, which should make scoring quite a bit easier.
Logan Stankoven, C/RW, DAL vs. VAN (20% rostered)
Evgenii Dadonov, RW, DAL vs. VAN (4% rostered)
Mavrik Bourque, C, DAL vs. VAN (1% rostered)
Which Star you ended up rostering will depend on what you need. While Stankoven has the most name recognition, I find him the weakest option among the three. He's playing L3 with Roope Hintz, and their scoring upside pales in comparison to the other two scoring lines.
Dadonov is the best option for points. He's playing L1 with Wyatt Johnston and Jason Robertson, both of whom have been excellent over the past little while. After a slow start to the season where he played in the bottom six, Dadonov has 18 points in his past 28 games. Bourque scored a goal in his previous game and plays L2 with Jamie Benn and Matt Duchene, but his ceiling is lower because he plays fewer minutes and rarely shoots the puck. Dadonov, Stankoven and Bourque all play on PP2.
Pius Suter, C/LW, VAN at DAL (2% rostered)
With the Canucks really spreading out their talent, Suter somehow ended up with the best pair of wingers with Conor Garland and Jake DeBrusk. To Suter's credit, he's been playing well; he's averaging over 18 minutes per game over his past six games and riding a hot streak with four points in his past four games. The Stars are a tough opponent but Suter can be a really good under-the-radar play.
Alexandre Texier, C, STL at COL (0% rostered)
The Blues have lost three in a row with only four goals scored, so they're switching things up a lot here. Texier, who sat out as a healthy scratch previously, is back in the lineup but curiously on L1 with Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich. Texier is a fine role player but not a scorer; however, I digress, and simply note the plum assignment and a matchup against a porous defensive team. The Blues need to generate a lot of offense to beat the Avs and, hopefully, that's the case here. I don't have much confidence in Texier and the Blues will mix up the lines again in a hurry if things don't go well, but it's worth noting.
Matt Dumba, D, DAL vs. VAN (0% rostered)
With Miro Heiskanen expected to miss an extended period of time - knee surgery is likely, says coach Peter DeBoer - Thomas Harley gets bumped up to PP1, which creates a spot on PP2 for Dumba. The veteran two-way defenseman has struggled over the past three seasons and, frankly, he doesn't possess much fantasy upside (if any) with just two assists in 31 games. He is good, however, for some blocks and hits. The PP2 assignment is just a nice bonus if you're looking for a defenseman to stream that has a little more upside than usual.
