- Hurricanes: Seth Jarvis on IR, Frederik Andersen out indefinitely and may require surgery

- Wild: Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body), Mats Zuccarello (lower body, underwent surgery), Jonas Brodin (upper body), and Matt Boldy at center and Marco Rossi's demotion to the third line

- Sabres: Tage Thompson (lower body), Jordan Greenway (undisclosed), Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (undisclosed), and Ryan McLeod and Dylan Cozens splitting duties with Devon Levi taking over the net

- Avalanche: Miles Wood, Jonathan Drouin and Valeri Nichushkin return, but Alexandar Georgiev is on IR and Justus Annunen takes over the net (again)

- Blackhawks: Seth Jones' foot injury and Alex Vlasic taking over PP1

- Ducks: Robby Fabbri (knee surgery), Cam Fowler (upper body), Mason McTavish (upper body) missing extended periods of time, while Olen Zellweger and Pavel Mintyukov benefit from the lack of PP competition

- Oilers: Viktor Arvidsson is day-to-day, leaving Leon Draisaitl with two subpar wingers and Jeff Skinner's demotion to the fourth line

- Kings: Darcy Kuemper's injury and David Rittich takes over as the No. 1

- Flyers: Samuel Ersson's unknown injury and Ivan Fedotov's resurgence

- Sharks: Vitek Vanecek's injury and a potential Yaroslav Askarov call-up
