Jason Chen and Michael Amato discuss the players they were wrong about going into the 2023-24 fantasy hockey season.
The Sleepers and Keepers fantasy hockey podcast hosts Jason Chen and Michael Amato aren't perfect, that's for sure.
Sometimes they're wrong (but not too often), and as 2023 draws to a close, they discuss some players they were either too high or too low on so far this fantasy hockey season.
The players include:
- Oilers right winger Connor Brown, who has been a healthy scratch and failed to re-kindle any chemistry with former junior linemate Connor McDavid
- Leafs left winger Tyler Bertuzzi, who was expected to slot in on the top line with Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews but has so far produced close to nothing in fantasy value
- Leafs starter Ilya Samsonov, who was expected to get a big workload with Matt Murray's injury but has struggled all season and lost the job to Joseph Woll
- Flames left winger Jonathan Huberdeau, who did not have a bounce-back season at all
- Knights starter Adin Hill and one-half of the Bruins' Jennings-winning tandem, Linus Ullmark, have also not regressed at all
