Jason Chen and Michael Amato make their fantasy hockey sleeper and keeper picks for Week 26.

Sleepers and Keepers Podcast: Week 26 Picks

The Sleepers and Keepers fantasy hockey podcast hosts Jason Chen and Michael Amato make their weekly picks for the sleeper and keeper of the week.

Michael is taking a shot at Tomáš Hertl as his sleeper pick, who returned to action and made his Golden Knights debut Monday against the Canucks. He finished the game with four hits, six faceoff wins, a shot and a power-play assist in 20:20 TOI in a 4-3 loss.

Michael is picking Justus Annunen as his keeper for the rest of the regular season. The Avalanche backup has posted strong stats this season and may be challenging Alexandar Georgiev for the starting job.

Jason makes Coyotes center Nick Bjugstad as his sleeper pick. The big power center has Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz on his wings, and the Coyotes are playing freely and scoring a lot of goals with the playoffs out of reach.

In a similar vein, Jason is picking backup goalies Semyon Varlamov of the Islanders and Alex Nedeljkovic of the Penguins as his keeper picks. Varlamov was Patrick Roy's goalie back in Colorado, and Roy seems to have lost confidence in Ilya Sorokin. Nedeljkovic, meanwhile, has been a big reason why the Pens are back in the playoff race. Though he doesn't get good goal support, his performances have been excellent lately.
